Статья посвящена актуальной на сегодняшний день проблеме аутизма как отклонения в нормальном развитии ребенка, которая представляет собой одну из самых сложных и загадочных проблем современности. Обосновывается идея о том, что музыкальная деятельность, нацеленная на коррекцию отклонений в развитии детей с ASD, в состоянии улучшить нарушенные и сформировать недостающие ребенку-аутисту функции в разных сферах: эмоциональной, поведенческой, когнитивной.
